Caliper Wellness Welcomes Karen Schwartz, LMHC, to Expand Therapy Offerings for Individuals and Families

Caliper Wellness is thrilled to announce the addition of Karen Schwartz, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), to their team of dedicated mental health professionals. With her extensive expertise in mental health counseling and a genuine commitment to helping clients, Karen will play a crucial role in broadening the scope of therapy services provided by Caliper Wellness.

Karen Schwartz is a graduate of the University of South Florida, where she earned her master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, accompanied by a certificate in Family and Marriage Therapy. As a compassionate and dedicated LMHC, Karen primarily focuses on providing exceptional care and support to her patients. Her genuine desire to positively impact their lives and guide them through mental health challenges makes her a valuable asset to the Caliper Wellness team.

Throughout her career, Karen has honed her abilities by utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. She also offers psychoeducation, social skills training, communication skills, and self-advocacy strategies. Karen’s adaptable approach promotes personal growth and empowers clients to harness their existing skills while discovering new abilities along the way.

Caliper Wellness is proud to offer individual, group, family, and marriage counseling services under Karen’s guidance. Her expertise and dedication will further strengthen the center’s commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for patients to explore their emotions and develop effective coping strategies.

In her free time, Karen enjoys quality moments with her family, indulging in favorite TV shows, reading, and crocheting. Apart from being a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Karen holds certifications as a Rehabilitation Counselor, Vocational Evaluator, and Case Manager. She is also a Qualified Supervisor for LMHC and LMFT interns.
