Tamatha Brown, PMHNP
Tamatha “Tami” Brown is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She attended Walden University to obtain her MSN in Psychiatric Nursing. From the first moment, she stepped into a psychiatric facility for clinical rotation years ago, Tami knew these were the individuals that she wanted to help.
Tami believes that treating a person means more than throwing a quick diagnosis and medication at them. Her approach has always been focused on creating a safe and judgment-free zone, listening to her patients, and their concerns, and helping them figure out how to live their best life.
Her life motto is “Never be afraid to take the scenic route, for there is where life is truly found!”
When there is any extra time found, Tami loves adventures at the beach and in the water with her family – it helps feeds her inner mermaid (or manatee).
