Why Caliper

A caliper is a tool for specific measurement.  We know that healthcare providers often treat all patients the same without taking the time to listen, understand what is happening in their lives, and provide treatment options customized for them.

At Caliper, our goal is help our patients live better lives by addressing both the physical and mental challenges they are facing.  We treat patients with precision through an integrated approach that combines the use of traditional prescription medication, off-label prescription remedies and therapy sessions.

Patty Murphy

Patricia Murphy, FNP

Patricia "Patty" Murphy is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a nine-years of experience in bedside nursing and a primary focus in emergency medicine. Patty focuses on treating all patients equally with empathy and respect. She prides herself in taking the time to listen to her patients and, in turn, treat the whole patient, not just the disease process.

Patty educates patients about their bodies, what happens in disease processes, and how we treat them. Her goal is for patients to understand what we're doing, and why we're doing it, give them the opportunity to ask questions, and provide options for patients to choose how they want to proceed.

She strongly supports least invasive options as first-line treatments and is open to helping guide patients to safe, more holistic practices if that is their preferred choice of treatment.  She treats all my patients as if they were my own family.
